Sound Limiters

If a venue has a sound limiter fitted it means that they have, or have had, people in the local area complaining about the noise. Some sound limiters switch off the power if the sound level exceeds a predetermined level for a set length of time.

Smoke Machines

A smoke machine is a useful tool when it comes to making the light show spectacular. Most modern lighting is low power LED lights which are not as powerful as the old style lamps. This means that the beams of light do not show up and you just end up with little coloured dots scattered about the room. Unfortunately, smoke machines can set off fire alarms although some venues have fire alarms which can have different zones isolated and so we can only use smoke machines with the venues permission.

Size Constraints

A band takes up quite a large amount of room and can dominate some smaller rooms making the whole thing a bit

Set Up Times

This can be a problem. Some venues have set timings for their weddings and are not flexible with regard to this element.
